To see a world in a grain of sand
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
Auguries of Innocence - William Blake
I am an avid traveler living in Singapore. As to whether I am a photographer, there is debate. I like to think of myself as a traveler with a camera. My goal is to see as much of the world as I can in my lifetime. The camera is just part of all those journeys. Travel photography to me is a way for me to remember the places I have been. Like the old adage, "Like all great travelers, I have seen more than I can remember, and remember more than I have seen", the photographs provide some form of reality to me when I revisit them again. Being able to travel when I want and where I want to go, I can choose a great scene for my pictures. From sunsets, sunrises, beaches, street photography, objects, people & portraits and much more ... actually just about anything I feel will make an impact as a great image.
I view photography as a means for us to look at the world. Since we all view the world through different shades of glasses, how we see things may not always be the way others view the world. That is what makes photography interesting!
I am currently documenting some of the interesting places on my island home. If you are visiting Singapore, how about something a little bit 'different' to remember your visit? Please feel free to contact me for more information on how to get to some of these places that may give you fond memories of your time here.
Thank you for visiting my site!
